Hey ! We have big news! LocalGuddy and Triple are becoming ONE! Read now!
Let´s ride to the oldest Windmill in the city, a working Cheese farm and Wooden shoes Factory and a pause with wine, beer or coffee! Riding next to the gently flowing Amstel River, we arrive to a 378 year old windmill. We stop for a short break and learn about the history of the Windmill and its surroundings, the favourite spot of Rembrandt. After this, we're off to a 400 hundred year old working cheese farm. The owners are friendly and willing to share the secrets of how Dutch cheese and clogs are made. We have a tasting of different Gouda cheese! Afterwards we have our pause in a very beautiful place with views to the Amstel river where you can have your wine, beer or coffee, included! We return using a different route through a floating house boat community and the famous Skinny Bridge!
