It was a totally new experience for me to go around and discover things with a guide who was there exclusively for me. Lucien is a nice guy who not only met my expectations, but he actually surpassed them. The most beautiful passages of Paris took way longer than the expected time, but, as I was in no rush, Lucien was happy to make the tour longer and show me more places. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wishes for a richer and more personalised sightseeing. Majda
Lucien is a terrific guide. I would highly recommend him, as I would also highly recommend taking his tour of Les Passages. Lucien is an extremely well informed and interesting guide. He is personable, and I felt like I was exploring a hidden part of Paris with a very knowledgeable friend. The passages are a wonderful place to visit. They are not full of tourists, but ARE full of history. Once again, if you want to see a different, and unique slice of Paris, I recommend taking this tour with Lucien.
Lucien is a total history buff! He even has the older maps of Paris (from 1800s). He's a rare breed of tour guide; quiet nature and soft spoken (loud enough to listen to it all, but soft enough that not the WHOLE hallway can hear what he says). I enjoy his presentations. He is super informative and well prepared. He articulates well with just enough French accent for that Paris experience :P Totally recommend to anyone who loves history!
