This 3-hour private tour will take you around all the main buildings and works designed by the Portuguese and Porto's own architect Álvaro Siza Vieira, and winner of the Pritzker Prize in 1992. You will get to see a number of his works including the Museu de Serralves, Porto (Contemporary art Museum) and Parks The Museum of contemporary art was designed by Alvaro Siza in 1991 and open to public in 1999. Many great artist exhibited in this museum. It is surrounded by a renowned garden called Parque de Serralves, designed by the french landscape architect Jacques Greber. Faculdade de Arquitectura do Porto (Architecure Faculty) Architecture Faculty of Porto was created in 1976 by Siza, being one of its most know creations. It is also one of the best architecture schools in Europe. Casas sociais, SAAL, Bouça II, Porto (Social Housing) Social Housing inserted in a national program destined to seek state aid to alleviate poor housing conditions in Portugal. Álvaro Siza worked for SAAL between 1973 and 1977, and during this time designed two housing projects in Porto, Bouça and the Sao Victor row houses. Avenida dos Aliados, Porto (City's main square) This square is the exact center of the city of Porto. Is was first designed in 1916, as a part of the expansion plan created by the architect Barry Parker. It is somehow the welcome hall of the city, where its citizens reunite here for a lot of the city's events. It was completely transformed by SIza and Souto de Moura in 2006. Estação de metro de São Bento, Porto (metro station) Project of one of the most beautiful metro stations in Porto at the heart of the city. End of Tour with a magnificent view with Porto's skyline.
