Dive into Madrid's hidden and underground street art with a graffiti lover. Discover the most relevant spots related to a cultural movement which brings color to the streets. Meet national and international artists who have performed in Madrid's city center. We will visit La Neomudejar, Madrid's avante garde center and former MZA warehouse. Dated back from the XIX century, this building and its street art will amaze you! Next we will continue our experience through Lavapiés, visiting La Tabacalera. This 16,000 sq. meters building used to be used as a tobacco factory and now used as a self-sustained center with an amazing painted wall. Our last spot will be El Campo de Cebada, the street art plaza closely related to the 15M movement and the pacific protests of Madrid. Meet me from Wednesdays to Sundays at 11.00AM and 5.00PM at the two big babies statues located on the upper level entrance of the Atocha Renfe Station. This guided visit will take from 2 to 3 hours to be completed and you will learn about the history of graffiti and the techniques used by many international artists. Reservations must be made within at least 24 hours in advance. 2 people minimum group required for each tour to kick off

Even though I've been in Madrid for several months, Javier still managed to show me places and pieces of art that I hadn't heard of! He knew all the cool pieces in the city and offered a lot of historical and present-day context on artists' styles and messaging. I'd definitely recommend this tour for anyone looking to see a differnt side of Madrid.
